Cornishtown has a new fire station

On Sunday 14 September 2014, Bill Tilley MLA officially opened the new Cornishtown Fire Station, witnessed by over 50 members of the local community and Cornishtown brigade.

Mobile Training visit District 24

Representatives from Bogong Group and Tallangatta Group were introduced to two new training props last month, which are designed to assist brigade members to experience various heat and smoke scenarios including a car fire in an open garage and a fire within a kitchen and lounge room scenario.

Happy 70th Wattle Glen

On Friday 21 February, Boaz Herszfeld, Executive Director of Creswick Woollen Mills, presented a cheque for $500 to Ron Leary the Group Officer of the Bogong Group. Creswick Woollen Mills are great supporters of CFA and make regular donations to local brigades and groups around the state.
