Golden Square ready to monitor the atmosphere

After weeks of training, Golden Square Fire Brigade now has two new MSA Altair 5X gas detectors, one on the pumper and the other on the salvage unit.

Saturday night was freezing cold, but that didn’t deter 35 people getting together and enjoying the Metcalfe Brigades “Mid Off-Season BBQ”. A lot was eaten (even if we did forget the hamburgers until last) and the salads and desserts were fantastic.
