District 2 Brigades Taradale, Elphinstone, Kyneton and Malmsbury recently met to discuss improvements to Calder Freeway Response Tables.

Hallam and Narre Warren brigades were called to investigate a strong smell of gas in the Fountain Gate Shopping Centre in Magid Drive Narre Warren around 6:20pm on Friday 18 May.

Sunday the 5th May 2013, saw the Higgs Family honoured in front of around 80 guests with the naming of the Brigades Meeting & Training Room. Captain Bruce Jewell had the honor of announcing that "effective from  today the room will be known as the “Higgs Family Meeting Room” or the Higgs Room as I am sure it will be called."
