A Total Fire Ban has been declared in seven of the nine weather districts for Friday, 25th January 2013.

There is a TFB for the Mallee, Wimmera, South West, North Central, Northern Country, West and South Gippsland, Central (which takes in Melbourne and Geelong) districts.

No fire can be lit in the open air from 00:01 hours on 25 January 2013 until 23:59 hours on 25 January 2013.

The Fire Danger Rating for Friday is 'Severe' for Central and Wimmera and 'Very High' for the rest of the state. (correct at time of publication - see website for latest)

Thanks Fletch. That has been fixed. Although I notice that the FDR has now changed again. The above was correct at time of writing.
