Local cyclist Tavis Baker plans to ride around Lake Wendouree for 24 hours to raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal.

The event will begin from the Botanical Gardens at 6pm on Thursday 17 April and conclude at 6pm on the 18th.

With a special appearance from Captain Koala on Good Friday (12 - 1pm), Tavis is sure to raise a few dollars. CFA volunteers will be there to collect donations for the appeal on the Thursday 6-7pm and Good Friday 12-1pm.

Racers Cafe & Bar located around the lake, have gotten on board and generously agreed to donate $2 from every coffee purchased on Good Friday directly to the appeal.

If you would like to donate to the Good Friday Appeal through Tavis it can be done online via the following link:

Alternatively Tavis would love anyone to join him for a couple of laps on their bicycle or for some supporters throughout the 24 hours.
