Three days to the 14hr CFA/MFB Treadmill Challenge
There is till time to register and particpate in the CFA/MFB treadmill challenge this Thursday 13 April 2017
Location: Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne CBD
Time: 07:00hrs - 21:00hrs
The aim of this event is to raise awareness of the Royal Children’s Hospital, Good Friday Appeal to people in the city for the 14 hour period and to receive donations for this special cause.
The team will have; 1 x CFA member and 1 x MFB member on a treadmill at all times.
We do not expect our runners to run 3 hours straight. Instead runners/joggers will rotate around with at least 4-5 other CFA runners per 3 hour block.
We also seek assistance from those not interested in running but assistance in fundraising ‘tin rattling’ in the vicinity of the runners.
There are still plenty of times available from 7am - 4pm for participants to join in.
Over the past 7 years the event has raised over $150,000 for the Royal Children’s Hospital.
The involvement from CFA every year is always outstanding. Many friendships have been forged through this event between staff and volunteers and in between the agencies. This event is where politics and issues are left behind and the most important goal for the day is raising funds for kids in need.
Can't make the event? How about a tax deductible donation instead via the following link and help us reach our goal of $5000
