Ocean Grove CFA has joined the likes of Bill Gates, Justin Timberlake and Oprah in getting behind the latest social media challenge in support of Motor Neurone Disease research.

Today day shift members Leading Firefighter Roscoe Holmes, Firefighter Angus Rollinson and Station Officer Adrian Bryan took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and made a donation towards MND research (Motor Neurone Disease is referred to as ALS in the states).

The crew encouraged others to get behind the cause and as part of their challenge nominated Dandenong Fire Station, Geelong City Fire Station and Deputy Chief Officer Steve Warrington to follow suit.
