The Crime Stoppers Anti-Bushfire Arson Roadshow is coming to a town near you.

Crime Stoppers CEO Samantha Hunter will be joined by representatives from Victoria Police, SES, CFA and local council officials to encourage residents to report suspected firebugs.

“Bushfire arson is a matter for the entire community. Every year thousands of acres of land are burned due to firebugs. These completely avoidable fires destroy our farmland, national parks and native animals and threaten homes throughout Victoria. I am proud to stand with members of the Victoria Police Force, CFA and SES to say that Victoria says no to firebugs” said Ms Hunter.

“As many as one in two fires each summer are deliberately or recklessly lit. Our message to the Victorian community is simple. If you see something, say something. Call the police or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000” Ms Hunter said.
