Beeac Ultra Light handover

On a nice Sunday morning,  Beeac Fire Brigade celebrated the official handover of their Ultra-Light Tanker with brigade members.

Member for Polwarth, Terry Mulder, officially handed over the fire fighting appliance. The attendees included Colac Otway Shire Mayor Lyn Russell, Deputy Beeac Group Officers Gavin Brien, and Beeac Captain and Beeac Group Officer Scott Richardson..

The day began with Scott Richardson  welcoming everybody. 

Terry Mulder then spoke about the importance of the new vehicle, and added the importance that is has already played in firefighting efforts in the area.

Scott made a speech and thanked everyone for their involvement in making this day so successful. A special thanks went out to the brigade members and their families for their continuing support.

Everyone then enjoyed a delicious lunch.

The day was considered by all to be a huge success.
