Boats destroyed in Blairgowrie
Two boats have been destroyed and several damaged in a fire at Blairgowrie this afternoon.
CFA was called to the scene just after 2.30pm.
CFA District 8 Operations Officer John Francis said it took firefighters from CFA and Coast Guard around 30 minutes to control the fire.
"Two boats were destroyed, another was severly damaged and another four to five were scorched in the blaze," he said.
"A man in his 70s received minor burns and was transported to hospital by Ambulance Victoria."
Victoria Police, Maritime Safety and WorkSafe and were also on scene.
The cause of the fire is unknown and a fire investigator is on the way to the incident.
CFA crews from Sorrento, Rosebud and Rye attended.
