Brigade promotion made easy
The CFA website's News & Media section provides all CFA members with an easy way to share news about their brigade and promote the great work they do around Victoria.
With an average of around 10,000 people visiting the news pages each week it's the best place to share CFA news with the Victorian community and other CFA members.
And as every article posted to the site is tweeted via the CFA's CFA_Connect Twitter account it's also the best way to take advantage of the power of CFA's social media channels.
The best stories from the site are also highlighted in the weekly News & Media email update distributed widely around the organisation.
CFA Digital Media Manager, Martin Anderson, said the number of CFA members who post stories to the site has increased in recent months with 24 stories being posted last week alone.
"It's great to see lots of new names popping up at the top of news articles," he said. "Not many organisations give their members the opportunity to post content directly to their public website and it's great to see so many taking advantage - but we're always keen for more contributors."
"The site has recently been made mobile responsive which means it's even easier to post content directly from your mobile phone, including photos and video."
