Captain Koala is looking for love

CFA’s Captain Koala braved the big smoke looking for love this Valentine’s Day.

Handing out love-heart chocolates, high-fives and hugs, Captain Koala was popular with the crowd at Frankston Train Station this morning.

Operations Manager Jamie Hansen, who was supporting Captain Koala today, said Captain Koala was trying to find a Valentine while also sending out an important safety message to the community.

“We want everyone to enjoy their Valentine’s celebrations today but we don’t want your evening to go up in flames – make sure you don’t leave any candles burning unattended,” he said.

“You don’t want a romantic night to end with firefighters on your doorstep so have a great time with your Valentine’s but be safe.”

While Captain Koala left the train station with many future prospects, he also has a Tinder profile for the day so he may still be lucky in love.
