Emergency services are currently on scene at a 4WD and CFA truck crash at Yarra Junction.
The incident was called in on the Warburton Highway about 10.30am today where a woman driving in a vehicle with her baby, and a CFA tanker on its way to a Code 1 (lights and sirens) call-out, collided.
CFA Deputy Chief Officer, John Haynes, said thankfully the crash resulted in no serious injuries.
“Fortunately the child involved was not injured and all CFA personnel are ok. The woman driving the 4WD was treated on-scene,” he said.
Early indications suggest the vehicle may have drifted into the path of the tanker, however, DCO Haynes said details surrounding how the accident occurred would now be formally investigated.
CFA also has personnel on scene for the welfare of members involved.
