Career firefighter recruitment campaign reopens
From midday Monday 14th November CFA will provide a small window for prospective candidates to apply for the role of Career Firefighter.
Applications are being taken for courses commencing in the 2nd half of 2017.
The application period will close once 250 applications have been received.
“We are once again looking for women and men from diverse work and life backgrounds and we would like to hear from our Volunteers eligible to apply!” said Recruitment Advisor Jodie Clarke. “Be aware though you will need to complete your fitness and aptitude tests on Thursday 15 December, so it’s not far off”
Applicants will need to be Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents in order to be eligible with the only other official prerequisite being possession of a non-probationary Australian driving license.
Successful candidates will undergo a 19 week recruit Firefighter course commencing after July 2017.
ONLY THOSE WHO DID NOT APPLY IN 2016 ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS POOL
(Candidates who applied and were unsuccessful during 2016 will get the opportunity to apply again in April 2017)
