Career firefighter recruitment opportunity
CFA will be opening another career firefighter application process from 12pm Wednesday 4 January 2017.
Applications submitted in this timeline will require candidates to undertake courses scheduled for the second half of 2017. Those applying will also need to be available to attend a beep/aptitude test on 2 February 2017.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents. The only other prerequisite is a non-probationary Australian driving licence.
Successful candidates will undergo a 19 week recruit Firefighter course commencing after July 2017.
Please note: Only those who didn’t apply in 2016 and have not exhausted their three attempts are eligible for this pool. (Candidates who applied and were unsuccessful during 2016 will get the opportunity to apply again in April 2017).
