CEO Update: Operational Enterprise Agreement
As you know, last month the VFBV sought an injunction in the Supreme Court, with CFA agreeing to defer a vote on the Operational Enterprise Agreement until the court action was complete.
Today, as part of the court process, the trial has been rescheduled to begin on Monday, 3 October, rather than the original date of 22 September. It is expected to run for 10 days.
While we are disappointed that the resolution of legal questions related to the proposed operational agreement has been delayed, we respect the court’s decision to reschedule the hearing.
It is in the interests of all volunteers and staff that the EA issues be resolved at the earliest opportunity, and we will continue to focus on making this happen.
We will also update you on any further developments.
