CEO Update: support for our dairy farmers
Most of us understand the challenges that come with responding to incidents and emergencies and the impact this can have on our members and their families.
We also know there is support available to members and their families through CFA's Peer Support Program or the Members Assistance Program on 1300 795 711.
What many don't know is support is available to all members and their families regardless of the circumstances.
The current turmoil in the Australian dairy industry is taking a toll on many dairy farmers, with prices plummeting and incomes under severe stress.
CFA and the Victorian community owe a huge debt to dairy farmers. Thousands of dairy industry workers dedicate their time, energy and expertise to keep their communities safe through their work with CFA.
So now, during this difficult time for our colleagues in the dairy sector, it's important all of us lend our support and friendship.
To find out what support services are available or how you can support a friend or family member visit the Welfare Services page on CFA's website.
