Emerald Fire Station opened it's doors for the second year of CFA Sunday.

The main attraction this year was the MEBU bus arriving at the Station. Parked out the back car park, the kids and adults loved the interaction with the electronic educational equipment inside the bus. Surely a major asset for CFA to take out to the schools around Victoria.
On show were the three appliances stationed at Emerald. These obviously had a keen interest by the families visiting the station. The sausages sizzling on the BBQ and the colouring table also caught the kids attention.
On a serious note, Officers and firefighters were on hand to give fire safety advice with plenty of literature available.
Notable visitors to the event were State MP for Gembrook Brad Battin, Jamie Devenish from CFA Community Education and Tarryn Campbell from District 13.
Thanks to the community for coming to visit. Estimated 50 to 80 people attended. At least two possible recruits, people dropping in money for donations and even interstate visitors that were passing and dropped in to say hello.
A great day and look forward to 2013!
