On behalf of George and Pat Hetrel, at Como Gardens, we wish to advise that due to the high rainfall we have received lately, the Open Garden Scheme Weekend scheduled for 15 and 16 October has now been postponed and moved to 12 and 13 November.
This event has been organised by The Basin Fire Brigade, St John Ambulance and SES to raise funds.
The grounds are quite saturated and the car parking area would not be able to be opened.
The gardens have also suffered and at the moment it is inaccessible to the general public.
We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but would appreciate your assistance with informing all the people you may have advised about this activity.
We will also endeavour to have as many activities as possible that were advertised on the leaflet available on the rescheduled weekend.
