Coongulla CFA Sunday
Coongulla is a small town on the shores of Lake Glenmaggie in the Wellington Shire. The population grows during the summer holidays. The brigade is embracing community engagement and has had some good success during the last couple of years.
The brigade had a really good day (except the rain). They hosted a free BBQ and free Fireman Pinata door prize.
They also ran a wood raffle on behalf of the Lake Glenmaggie CRG to raise money for the children's play equipment at our hall.
The Hoddles Creek Junior Brigade visited again this year and had a wonderful time checking out the new tanker and having a lesson on rakehoes!
The brigade also launched our Community Protection Map to the community and explained to all our visitors how it will work in the case of an emergency.
A fun day was had by all including our three fire station dogs, Joe, Max and BJ who were dressed in the PPC coats!
