Cranbourne brigade's Station Officer Ricky Read, Leading Firefighter Stuart Radley and Firefighter Angus McDonald attended the Casey Safety Village school holiday program to help support activities for the parents and children who braved the cold and windy conditions.

The Casey Safety Village is open on selected days during school holidays and the school holiday program aims to increase children's awareness of bicycle safety and home fire safety. During these sessions the parents also have the opportunity to pick up some safety tips on how to help keep their children safe.

The children were treated to activities including:

  • Bike safety activities
  • Fire safety sessions – in the CFA Learning Centre
  • Colouring and puzzles
  • Visit from Cranbourne brigade
  • Visit from Ambulance Victoria
