Creating Our Future Together - Consultation begins for five directorates
Five proposed directorate structures have been approved for consultation - Business Services, Communities and Communication, Operational Training and Volunteerism, People and Culture and Performance and Strategy.
Fire and Emergency Management is refining its proposed design as well as preparing for the official transition from eight to five regions.
Consultation around proposed designs for the other directorates will take around a month and provide the opportunity for CFA employees, relevant stakeholders and industrial bodies to ask questions and provide feedback.
All feedback will be considered prior to finalising the designs with CFA’s Executive Leadership Team.
People and Culture begin their consultation today and Performance and Strategy will start next Thursday. Business Services, Communities and Communication and Operational Training and Volunteerism will commence in the coming weeks.
The five Assistant Chief Officers will commence on Monday 8 September 2014 and complete a two-week induction program followed by local briefings.
The official transition to five regions is scheduled for Thursday 2 October, when each Assistant Chief Officer assumes control of their respective region.
