Darley Women in Leadership Forum
Limited vacancies exist for CFA Women Members to attend a one day “Women in Leadership Forum” being held on Saturday 17 August 2013 at Surf Lifesaving Headquarters (Vic) in Port Melbourne. The Forum commences at 11.00am and will close at 4.00pm.
The Forum is part of the VFBV Darley Volunteer Program, and has been planned and organised by a group of women who volunteer for various Emergency Services.
The topic of Forum is “Women in Leadership….where will we be by 2020?
The day will commence with a workshop which will identify 4 key issues and will be brought forward into the afternoon session for further discussion in order to come up with solutions for moving forward into the future. There is plenty of opportunity to network with participants from the Emergency Services throughout the day.
The Forum is aimed at the many women who work and volunteer within the Emergency Services in Victoria including SES, Ambulance Victoria, Life Saving Victoria, St John Ambulance Australia (Vic) and of course, CFA. The Forum has been supported by some very high profile people, including Kelly O’Shanassy, Leonie Morgan, Sharon Butler and the co-founder of the Global Leadership Foundation, Gayle Hardie who will be the guest speaker on the day.
