Transition to the Regional Radio Dispatch Service (RRDS) is on track to kick off between April and July 2014.

Transition to the new service will predominately be rolled out over a period of approximately ten weeks. The aim is to roll out the transition between April and May, however, some districts that have been heavily impacted by fire activity will transition in July. Specific dates for each district are currently in discussion with the District Operational team.

Over the coming weeks, the RRDS project team will work closely with the District Operations team to finalise transition plans and support with district readiness. Included in the transition process will be learning exercises to help CFA members understand the new RRDS service and adequately prepare them for the transition.

For more information or if you have any questions please feel free to contact your Operations Manager or Group Officer. You can also contact the RRDS Regional Coordinator responsible for your district.

For contact details of your RRDS Regional Co-ordinator and other project information, visit the RRDS section on Brigades Online (if you are not already logged in to Brigades Online you will be directed to the log in page first).
