To celebrate National Volunteer Week, District 7 Headquarters hosted a ‘Thanks a Million’ morning tea on Wednesday 15 May.

A cross section of volunteers attended the morning tea, including District staff who also wore a volunteer hat.

There was a fabulous spread of cakes, slices, hot food, cheese and fruit platters, that these were enjoyed by all who attended over a chat and a cuppa.

Acting Operations Manager Dean Manson thanked those who attended and wished there could have been more members attend.  He acknowledged the fantastic work of volunteers within the District, and also took the time to acknowledge the support provided to our volunteers by their employers, partners and family members.

The morning tea was proudly supported by Barwon South West Region, along with CFA Communities and Communications and Operational Training and Volunteerism Teams.

Well done to everyone for your fantastic work!
