Donvale home badly damaged by fire
CFA fire investigators believe a faulty power board may be to blame for a fire which has extensively damaged a home at Donvale.
6 MFB and 8 CFA Crews arrived to find the two storey house in Allinga Place well alight, around 9.30 Tuesday 14 May.The home was unoccupied at the time.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the house to attack the fire from inside.
It took crews around half an hour to bring under control, with the building suffering substantial fire and water damage, including a collapsed roof.
Fire investigators examined the scene late on Tuesday and early indications suggest a faulty power board was at fault.
