On Saturday 25th May, Casey Mason from the Career Firefighter Recruitment Team attended the ‘Dreamtime Career Expo.’

The expo was held at the Korin Gamadji Institute at the Richmond Football Club to coincide with the AFL’s Indigenous round.

The expo was aimed at providing an opportunity for Victorian employers, education and training providers to connect with Indigenous school leavers and Indigenous job seekers.

There were over 200 stall holders in attendance, with many Victorian government departments, educational institutions and private businesses represented. It’s estimated that over 1,000 people attended the expo throughout the day, including former AFL stars Michael Long and Chris Johnson, as well as former Olympic hurdler Kyle Vander Kuyp.
