Newly created Emergency Management Victoria will hold a series of forums around the state.

You are an integral part of Victoria’s emergency management journey.

Victoria’s emergency management reform journey took a significant step forward with the commencement of new emergency management arrangements on July 1, 2014.

Over a number of years, Victoria’s emergency management sector has been working together to build the foundations for an emergency management system which is sustainable, effective and delivers the best possible value to the community.

This is the next logical step in the way emergencies are managed in Victoria “before, during and after”.  But what does it all really mean?

A series of regional and metropolitan forums provide the chance for the emergency management sector to find out about the opportunities and the expectations within this next step.

Hear from and ask the hard questions of the Emergency Management Commissioner, the Chief Executive of Emergency Management Victoria and the Inspector-General for Emergency Management.

Sale – Tuesday July 29, 11am-12:30pm

Melbourne - Monday August 4, 11am-12.30pm

Swan Hill -Tuesday August 5, 11am-12:30pm

Ringwood – Wednesday August 13, 10am-11:30am

Ararat - Tuesday August 19, 1pm-2:30pm

Benalla - Friday August 22, 11am-12:30pm

Colac – Wednesday August 27, 1pm-2:30pm

You can register for the appropriate session by clicking on the location links above.   The register system is password protected – to register simply enter the password “emergency”.

The sessions will last approximately an hour and a half with plenty of time for questions.  Light refreshments will be provided. 

These sessions are relevant and open to anyone working within the emergency management sector. Please disseminate within your organisation to anyone who may be interested in attending.
