Today the Fair Work Commission conducted a hearing in to the UFU's application regarding CFA's Electronic Rostering System.
Today the parties agreed on a without prejudice basis that the training at Dandenong and Cranbourne will go ahead as planned , further the system will also go live as planned at these locations with a dummy VV paper system running in conjunction with Kronos.
Training at Frankston and Hallam will also go ahead as planned, however the go live date will be changed to a date to be advised after the formal hearing 6 November 2014.
CFA is pleased that the training is commencing with the system, CFA will be providing the required support to employees to enable the full use of the system.
The training and use of the new Electronic Rostering System is an exciting time for CFA, I encourage all our members to participate fully in the training and use of this system, prior to the formal Fair Work Australia outcome.
CFA will keep you informed of future developments, CFA will be further communicating with those participating in the training.
