Falcon Golf Challenge raises funds
The Falcon Golf Challenge is on again with all money raised going to Tongala Fire Brigade.
Come and meet your competition on the evening of Friday 2 March at the Falcon Hotel with finger food provided.
The Valley View golf course in Kyabram will host the event on Saturday 3 March. Arrive by 11am for a barbecue followed by 12pm tee-off with a shotgun start. The game is Four-Ball Ambrose and entry is $150 for golf and presentation.
After a great afternoon on golf, head back to the Falcon Hotel with transport provided by CFA. The hotel will lay on a spit roast and beer with entertainment and presentations. There will also be lots of raffles with great prizes. Anyone wanting to skip the golf but join us for the presentations, food and drink will pay just $50.
All entries and payment must be submitted to Gary Mepstead by 15 February, PO Box 8316, Carrum Downs, 3201. Phone 9783 0711.
The event raised $15,000 for the brigade last year which enabled them to finish their station renovations. This year’s proceeds will go towards the purchase of a brigade-owned light tanker.
