Police will investigate the cause of a house fire at Shepparton where a man was killed this morning.
CFA was called to the property in Sibley Court just after 1am, where the single-storey brick veneer house was fully alight.
It took firefighters about 45 minutes to bring the fire under control.
Police have confirmed that one of the occupants, a 52-year-old man, died in the fire.
While the cause of the fire is not known at this stage, it is not thought to be suspicious.
Four trucks from Shepparton and Mooroopna attended the incident.
