Valued at over $300,000 the Field Operations Vehicle (FOV) based in Golden Square is now operational. An information sheet has been provided for all brigades.
The FOV is designed to provide front-line communications and acillary equipment to support the command and control of, or act as Operations Point for, a Level 1, 2 or 3 fire/incident.
If your brigade requires the FOV, please request through Vicfire.
Please note the original Mobile Communications Vehicle will be kept in a state of readiness as a back up as this will be the FOV's first fire season.
