Grassfire in Boolite

Earlier today (Monday, 2 January) CFA crews attended a grassfire on Donald road in Boolite.

Crews were called to the scene just after 4pm and the fire was under control by 5pm.

The incident was started by a header fire which spread to surrounding grass lands.

Although the fire has been called under control, crews will remain on scene for some time as their are a lots of trees buring in the creek area.

Forest Fire Management was also on the scene as the fire spread into public land. 

12 trucks from Bangerang, Boolite, Buloke West Group, Donald, Kellac, Laen East, Litchfield, Minyip, Rich Avon, Sheep Hills, Warracknabeal and Wilkur South attended the incident.
