All members and staff have the opportunity to shape CFA's strategy in regards to volunteerism.

The draft CFA Volunteerism Strategy was recently presented to both the District 2 Planning Committee as well as the VFBV Executive Council.

Having been endorsed by the CFA Board, the draft CFA Volunteerism Strategy is an important development as it responds to the Victorian Auditor General’s Office (VAGO) report into “Managing Emergency Services Volunteers”. The report identified strengths and weaknesses in the way we support our volunteers. The strategy will help ensure CFA remains an effective volunteer-based organisation in the future.

The opportunity for feedback has been extended to mid-December. The following website provides a central point for all members and staff to leave their thoughts and help place priorities against the activity that will underpin this strategy.
