Have your say on the Red Paper
CFA is calling on members to provide comments and thoughts on the next phase of CFA’s Red Paper – a document that will outline our organisation’s direction over the next 10 years.
Thanks to the input already received from our members and other stakeholders, the Red Paper team has narrowed down what CFA needs to do by 2026 to four proposed goals and six transformation themes. The themes have been placed into a simple diagram and the project team is seeking your feedback on these.
“The world in which we operate is increasingly complex and we need to make sure CFA is adapting and transforming so we can continue to deliver for our communities,” said CFA’s CEO Lucinda Nolan.
Lucinda said the initial consultation phase had attracted significant feedback.
“We were pleased so many of you took the time to provide your comments and ideas to us and we are hoping to attract even more of your comments and feedback,” Lucinda said.
“We will draw on the Victorian Fire Services Review and the Government Response to the Review in developing the Red Paper. At the same time, we need the voices of our people to be heard when we are talking about the future shape and direction of CFA.”
All members have until 27 March to give their feedback and the Red Paper will be released in April 2016.
