Hay baler accident in Mt Duneed
CFA was called to an industrial accident at Horseshoe Bend Rd, Mount Duneed at about 6.45pm last night (29 November).
Crews arrived to find a man in his 60s trapped in a hay baler.
The patient appeared to have been trapped there for quite some time.
It is still unclear how the man came to be stuck in the machine.
CFA, Ambulance, SES and Police crews work tirelessly to extricate the man from the hay baler.
The incident was called under control by about 9.20pm.
The patient has since been airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
Eight CFA trucks and a support vehicle from Belmont, Connewarre, Geelong and Torquay attended the incident.
Worksafe will attend the incident scene today.
