Early this morning (25 Novemeber) CFA crews attended a hazmat incident at a commercial residence in Traralgon.
Crews arrived at the scene around 8.40am responding to a strong chemical smell issuing from a small package.
Crews in Breathing Apparatus evacuated approximately 15 people from the building.
A couple of people were treated at the scene for nausea and breathing difficulties by Ambulance Victoria.
The unknown package has since been contained and taken off the scene by Victoria Police for further investigation.
All CFA crews are now back in their respective stations.
Six CFA vehicles from Traralgon and Morwell attended the incident as well as VicPol and Ambulance Victoria.
