The CFA Honours & Awards Committee and the CFA Chair are pleased to advise the formal approval to have Junior service retrospectively recognised in total length of service for the purposes of the CFA Service and Life Membership awards.

Following significant discussion and investigation, this approval enables changes in the way in which members with junior service receive recognition.

From 1 April 2017, current members who have accurate CFA junior membership records in the CFA database (RMS) will have their junior service recognised as eligible service for CFA Service and Life Memberships awards.

This important change will ensure that CFA retains a consistent and quality approach to recognising the significant contribution our members make over an extended period of time, and reflects the request from our members and VFBV to consider the recognition of junior service as part of the total length of member’s service.

Please find the below FAQs regarding the implementation plan.
