Kylie and three of her daughters, Monique, Kadisha and Porsha, are active members of Swan Hill Fire Brigade.
The same three daughters also work together at Coles Swan Hill, where Mum is their manager.
While youngest daughter Ella is too young for either the workforce or fire brigade, it’d be a brave person to bet against her joining the rest of her family in protecting the local community in due time.
CFA media spoke to the family about why they decided to become volunteers, the friendly competitiveness that exists between them, and the support they received from senior brigade members after joining.
