Loch Fire Brigade once again held its open day last weekend.

The Brigade opens their doors on the second sunday in november every year. Like every year the Open day gets bigger and better and more successful. We had around 200 people walk through our doors for the day  which included some great activities for the kid's and heaps of fire ready information. But our main aim like all other brigades was to recruit new members.

The Juniors ran all the kid's activities, Including staion tours, smoke house, colouring competitions even a Captian Koala tattoo parlour. We also had a road rescue display, plenty of give aways and a lot of things to look at.

The Loch Fire Brigade would also like thank, Poowong Fire Brigade for bringing down their Ultra Light, Leongatha Fire Briagde for showing off their HAZMAT and also bringing down the TIC Camera, Korumburra Fire Brigade for bringing down their pumper. As well as those appliances we also had Loch Rescue, Tanker 1, Tanker 2, FCV and Loch's New Rescue Support to show off to the public.

Our open day was a great success and we look forward to making it even better next year.
