Man injured in Guildford house fire
A man in his 50s received burns to his face and hands in a house fire at Guildford last night (12/07).
CFA was called to the property in Shicer Gully Road at 7.00pm where the front of the home was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire took around 15 minutes to control and crews managed to save 50 per cent of the early settlement home.
The cause of the fire was accidental and is believed to have started from a candle left burning near a couch on the front porch.
Five trucks and support vehicles from Guildford, Fryerstown, Castlemaine, Campbells Creek and Bendigo attended.
