District 10 and 11 Peer Support Program Members met at the Meerlieu Hall for their Annual Christmas Dinner on Friday 30 November 2012.

Vivienne Wood Paynesville Captain said “This has become an annual event where the peer support group like to say ‘Thank You’ to their families and partner’s for their support throughout the year.

“We were surprised at the dinner with handmade place mats made by the students. The effort and thought put into each place mat was something to behold”.

“All members who attended the night were just amazed at the care and understanding of what CFA means to the local community and how well supported we are by the school and parents”.

“While it is our role to be the care givers as peer support,  this time we were the receivers of such special gifts. It was heart-warming to see how children understand and view CFA members in the community”.

“The group wish to say a special thank you to the children of Meerlieu Primary School, their Staff and Parents Committee who served up an amazing meal and showed what hospitality and Community means”.
