On Saturday the 16th of March 2013, Moe Schools Superstar Family Fun Day was held again for the second year since it was started in 2012 by the Moe Traders Association, this year the event was moved to the new location of Moe Racing Club.

The event was kicked off at 9.15am by local singer Jade Carpenter singing the Australian National Anthem.

It looked like the event was going to be rained out but the drizzle soon cleared until the conclusion of the event at 3pm.

Students from local schools participated in the Schools Superstar Competition, with the top 4 participants going on to sing at the Moe Music Festival on the 4th of May.

Code 1 Police Band was a big hit this year with everyone getting up & having a dance.

With the event being free for families it brings the community together for a fun day with lots of activities which included balloon artist, face painting, jumping castles and the animal farm.

With all the emergency services on display along with local sponsors from the community the event was a big hit, with approx 1500 people and families attending the event.
