In the lead up to Christmas, many struggling families do not share the excitement of others. It can be a time of great strain and financial burden. Every year the 3BA Christmas Appeal aims to reduce hardship and give families something to look forward to.

On Saturday 7 November, Napoleons-Enfield Fire Brigade joined both Buninyong and Sebastopol in the 3BA toy run where several ute-loads of toys were donated to children for Christmas.

The event featured the three brigade’s fire trucks and several hundred motorcycles which ran from Buninyong to Ballarat. The event was well received which is a credit to organisers within the Ulysses Central Highlands Branch.

Napoleons-Enfield Fire Brigade made a special effort to spread the Christmas cheer by dressing up their truck with decorations and tinsel. Reindeer ears were featured on the vehicles mirrors and Santa on the back.

Well done to each of the brigade’s for putting in a great effort and supporting yet another community initiative.
