Firefighters were called to a house fire that broke out in Cottonwood Court, Narre Warren last night.
Crews were called to the property just before midnight and were able to bring the fire under control within about 10 minutes.
The occupant was alerted to the fire by a passer-by and was able to safely self-evacuate.
Five CFA trucks from Narre Warren, Hallam and Frankston attended.
Ambulance Victoria was also on scene.
A fire investigation will take place to determine the cause of the fire.
