The new Safety Hub is a new initiative on the Mornington Peninsula and was officially opened on Monday the 16th September 2013.  The centre provides a variety of child safety and injury services including: Home Safety Assessments, Baby and Child First Aid Training and Child Restraint Fitting.

Safety Hub – Mornington was created through Safe Spaces for Kids and is a space where parents and carers of young children can meet and learn and there are plenty of resources for people to take home.

The centre is also a place that local community groups and businesses can hire for their own training or information sessions and this is where CFA Southern Metropolitan Region are looking at utilising the centre to deliver their Early Fire Safe and Home Fire Safety programs to a captive audience of new mothers with support from Mornington fire brigade.

Visitors of Safety Hub – Mornington, will have a chance to meet with professional staff members and the centre has already started to create a new buzz in the heart of Mornington. For more information about Safety Hub – Mornington, please call Adriana Hartskeerl on 0412210608.
