Noble Park church fire
CFA crews were called to respond to an early morning church fire on Joy Parade in Noble Park.
Around 4.20am (17 February) crews responded to the fire in the kitchen area which connects the Intercross Christian Centre and St Columbus Uniting Church.
The fire was under control at 4.45am.
Incident Controller Aaron Yates said the kitchen area was destroyed.
“There was some roof and structural damage to Intercross and the Uniting Church had some smoke and water damage,” he said.
Fire investigators will look into the cause of the suspicious fire.
