Steve Temby, a volunteer firefighter with the Doreen brigade of  Country Fire Authority in Australia, and his son, Matt, visited Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad, Inc and were treated with a tour of the station and ride on RS741.

Matt is a patient at the NIHClinicalCenter and he and his father visit Bethesda twice a year for checkups.

Steve brought Victoria CFA t-shirts for BCCRS members along with a CFA helmet.

A Doreen CFA sticker was placed on one of the BCCRS trucks and Steve and Matt brought home a BCCRS sticker for the Doreen tanker

Thanks you to Curtis Warfield, Stu Hambel and Ed Kenworthy for showing them around! Doreen CFA members thank the members of BCCRS for looking after Steve and Matt.

They are very special part of our brigade and we really appreciate your warm welcome whenever Steve and Matt visit Bethesda.

The bond between firefighters across the world is indeed a special one.
