Presentation of honours and awards

People and Culture has developed a CFA Honours and Awards Presentation Guide and toolkit, which complement the current CFA Honours and Awards materials.

Presentation

The purpose of the toolkit is to ensure CFA has a consistent approach to honours and awards, and CFA members’ service and contribution are appropriately recognised. The toolkit is intended to assist brigades, districts and presenters. The presentation guide gives general information and guidance about how to organise a ceremony and present awards.

The toolkit will be distributed to districts in the coming weeks. It consists of:

  • CFA Honours and Awards Presentation Guides
  • How to Wear Honours and Awards booklets
  • Presentation cushion and cover
  • Presentation pins
  • CD with award videos
  • Presentation wording.

The presentation guide is available on Brigades Online and brigades can order additional printed copies by contacting CFA Honours and Awards.

For information about the nomination process and how to submit a nomination, please refer to the CFA Honours and Awards Manual which is available on Brigades Online.
