Several CFA crews were called to the fire at 1.45pm on Eurambeen-Raglan Road.

A bushfire at a plantation site at Raglan this afternoon is now under control (29 Oct).

The fire was believed to be a private burnoff that escaped into bushland on the same property.

The fire was approximately 30 hectares in size.

A Watch and Act message was issued at 3.43pm warning people of the out of control fire and smoke in the Raglan area.

The fire was contained just before 4.30pm and under control by 5.25pm.

CFA crews are expected to remain on scene blacking out until midnight. Some crews will return in the morning to check for any hot spots.
